Stephanie Fabian Lane has worked in the international art world for over a decade. Previously she has worked at Matthew Marks Gallery, New York; Christie’s, London; Gagosian Gallery, London; and Thaddaeus Ropac Galerie, Salzburg. With a commitment to connoisseurship and investment portfolio development, Stephanie Fabian advises both new and experienced collectors on building cohesive art collections. She consults on acquisitions in all media, spanning the periods from the Post-War modern period to Contemporary, with a focus on European, North American artists. Stephanie has long-standing relationships with leading international galleries, museums, auction houses and private dealers, and attends major arts events, ensuring her access to the best that the market offers.

We offer a range of valuation services for private collectors, corporations and public institutions, including, but not limited to, the following:
- determination of tax relief for a charitable donation under the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program
- insurance purposes
- damage/loss claims
- disposition of collections or individual works
- divorce settlement or estate division

Collection Management
We can assist with the selection and purchase of an individual work of art, or to develop an evolving collection. Our longstanding relationships with international gallerists, dealers, auction house specialists and independent experts in the field provide us with insight and access. This, coupled with attendance at annual art fairs, auction house sales and biennials, present important opportunities for acquisitions. Additionally, we provide cataloguing and provenance investigation services. We also consult on long term collection care, stewardship and succession planning, providing philanthropic advice for donations.
